Rebuilds and Overhauls

Some machines are exposed to excessive dust or damaging environmental conditions which can have a major impact on their efficiency and lifespan.

For example, a machine which may normally be expected to run for 50,000 hours may need a rebuild after as little as 35,000 hours or even less.

A rebuild or overhaul will usually cost much less than a new machine and for this reason is an attractive option to consider.

We will replace bearings and seals and re-machine damaged rotors and shafts, bringing the machine back to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers Specifications).

As a general rule the bigger machines are more cost effective to rebuild than replace.

Predictive Maintenance will often identify the need for an overhaul or rebuild and we will make recommendations that will be the most economical for you in the long run.
